John Wesley called together such people to form “The Holy Club.” These men with varying talents and skills contributed to the rapid growth and spiritual enrichment of early Methodism

How to become a Fellow in the Society of John Wesley

There are two ways a person can become a fellow in the Society of John Wesley:

a) Join the society by personally making a $1,000 gift to the foundation, or

b) Recognize someone who has given Christian leadership to the ministry of the United Methodist Church over an extended period of time.

Individuals do not need to be United Methodists to join or be recognized.

A gift of $1,000 to the UMM Foundation enables one to become a fellow in the Society of John Wesley. This gift is used by the foundation to support the ministries of the foundation including scouting, the Upper Room Prayer Line, and men’s evangelism. If you are recognizing someone for their contributions to the ministry of the church, the gift may come from an individual, a UMM fellowship, or as a fundraiser in the honoree’s name.
